The first Persian Summer Classes, at the ICSSR in New Delhi, directed by Dr Syed Akhtar Husain (IIPS) and Dr Pardis Minuchehr (The George Washington University).

IIPS provides board and lodging, books and the services of teachers to enhance the proficiency of Persian language and deepen the understanding of Indo-Persian literature and culture. IIPS also fosters fraternity among Persian learners of India and abroad to keep the lamp of Persian learning lit and bright.
